It has been a long time since I have posted on this site. It makes sense that the first post after my recent hiatus should be one about abandoned buildings. Due to my fascination with forgotten places I have been known to indulge in a little Urban Exploration, or UE for short. I think my intrigue with such things has to do with my interest in history and other myths and legends. Walking into an old, abandoned house makes my imagination run wild with ideas about who could have lived there, what had happened there and what still might lurk within the walls. This video captures that feeling very well: Forgotten Places from ?Zac Boyet? on Vimeo. I don’t recommend trespassing or exploring dilapidated, possibly dangerous buildings. If you really want to see inside make sure you take proper safety precautions and get permission to be on the property. Tags: abandoned buildings, video |

I too like abandoned places. I have an affinity for portal compositions and views. The vid you posted above, the scene at 4:09 displays this nicely.
